Scorpio recipe
Having a sweet tooth, you simply adore desserts and have trouble
resisting anything with chocolate.
The 'Forbidden Fruit' label that chocolate is given makes it even
more tempting. The following recipe should satisfy your desire.
Luxury Chocolate Torte
Serves 8-12
75g (2¾oz) butter
150g (5½oz) digestive biscuits
397g can sweetened condensed milk
450g (1lb) plain chocolate, broken
into squares
90ml (6tbsp) brandy
300ml (½ pint) double cream
Grated chocolate to decorate
- Melt the butter, crush the biscuits, mix together then
press into the bottom of a 20cm (8in) tin and chill.
- Place the condensed milk, chocolate and brandy in a
bowl over a pan of simmering water, stir until melted.
- Remove from the heat and whisk until smooth.
- Cool for 5 mins and whisk in the cream.
- Pour over the biscuit base and chill for 12 hours.
- Grate chocolate over the top and serve.
