Aries recipe
Being a fire sign your love of hot and spicy food is almost certain,
particularly anything with tomatoes and onions, so the following is
probably one of your favourites.
Try this vegetarian version for the healthier option.
Vegetable Chilli
Serves 4
15ml (1tbsp) oil
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 red pepper, de-seeded and
chopped
10ml (2tsp) chilli powder
400g (14oz) can chopped tomatoes
440g (16oz) can kidney beans
Salt & pepper
Grated cheese
- Heat the oil in pan and gently fry the onion, garlic and
red pepper for 5 minutes until soft.
- Add the chilli powder and fry for a further 1 minute.
- Add the tomatoes, kidney beans, salt and pepper to
the pan and mix well.
- Simmer gently for 15 mins, adding more liquid if
required.
- Serve with boiled rice, jacket potatoes or tacos and top
with grated cheese.
