Aquarius is the sign of the Water Bearer
Element air & motto 'I Universalise'

Character
Aquarius is the eleventh sign of the Zodiac and is represented by the water-bearer. You are unconventional and original with a need for mental stimulation. You want to be friends with everyone and make an excellent team member, especially in a large group, but at the same time you also need to be individual and independent. You prefer new ways to do things and can be a bit of a rebel, particularly against the establishment. You will do what is best for mankind even if it means you have to break the rules. Because you love change and anything different, your home is probably full of the latest gadgets or unusual items. You are artistic but at the same time even-tempered and interested in spiritual matters alongside progressive scientific subjects. Aquarius is associated with the ankles and you may have problems in this area. With an Aquarius Sun you show a calm exterior even in the most extreme of circumstances but this may hide turmoil underneath which can suddenly surface to display the eccentric behaviour you are well known for. You like to analyse everyone around you and have an interest in anything new or strange. You don't care about being different and even as a child you will be very independent. At home you like to feel secure but you need to be with someone who will stimulate you mentally. You like to have a large collection of books showing the wide range of your many interests. Because you are more comfortable with thought processes and dealing with groups of people rather than individuals you may sometimes appear aloof to those around you, but you really do care about others and will campaign against injustice.
Words used to describe Aquarius
Unconventional, logical, intellectual, humanitarian, unpredictable, friendly, scientific, independent, and unique.
Career
You are ambitious but not obsessed about your income. You make a good leader as you are outspoken and respect the views of others even if you don't accept or act on them. As a career you need to choose work without continual supervision and areas involving technology, communication or to benefit others will be best like radio, the technical side of television, administration, social or charity work. You also have an inventive genius and make the archetypal absent-minded professor or inventor. Aviation, electrical or intricate detailed work would be suitable as well. Your interest in the occult means you would be an excellent astrologer and you also have good literary ability.
Love
In a partner you are looking for a friend, someone to talk to about everything and anything who is willing to share you with the rest of the world. You can be very cool emotionally and although this doesn't stop you from having relationships you often spend much of your life living alone before you find a soul mate.
